This is interesting:

The following stood out:

However, Brown University’s chairman of their American Studies Department(!), one Matthew Pratt Guterl, thinks Republicans are meanie pants who took the idea and perverted it or something:
For the past 20 years, the Republican Party has perversely rewritten former Supreme Court Louis Brandeis’s notion that states could be “laboratories of democracy.” Where Brandeis imagined state governments pushing liberal and progressive ideas beyond the national consensus, drawing the nation forward, Republicans have worked to preserve a dwindling white majority through gerrymandering and have used state governments not merely to slow down liberalism, but to turn it to dust and ash in the broad center of the country. In the so-called red states, liberalism is now often relegated to a kind of folklore-ish local practice in college towns and mid-sized cities, while formal, statewide policy is strictly and stridently conservative.

1:  “Perversely Rewritten.” What did Brandeis write exactly? It said he “imagined”. Would it not be true to say that Brandeis perversely “imagined”?

2: “Laboratories of Democracy.” So we have democracy as good and sweet and true and then we have this: ” state governments pushing liberal and progressive ideas beyond the national consensus, drawing the nation forward.” Democracy means majority rule. Or, slightly differently, popular government. So, do the people rule? Or is it those who are “pushing” against and “beyond” the “national consensus”?

3: Drawing, leading or forcing the nation (people) against their will.

4: “Republicans have worked to preserve a dwindling white majority..” Why is it dwindling? Are they not allowed to preserve their majority? Democracy is majority rule after all?

5: “Merely to slow down liberalism.” And that’s bad. This is simple stuff, but the language used clearly implies that liberalism is speeding up, moving towards, “pushing” “forward” to……

What if we re-wrote this piece in the following way:

For the past 20 years, the Socialist Party has perversely rewritten former Supreme Court Louis Brandeis’s notion that states could be “laboratories of democracy.” Where Brandeis imagined state governments pushing progressive and communist ideas beyond the national consensus, drawing the nation forward, Socialists have worked to preserve a dwindling Kulak majority through gerrymandering and have used state governments not merely to slow down Communism, but to turn it to dust and ash in the broad center of the country. In the so-called free states, Communism is now often relegated to a kind of folklore-ish local practice in college towns and mid-sized cities, while formal, statewide policy is strictly and stridently socialist.

The Supreme Court holds, according to Moldbug, the Imperium, it is Sovereign. The Sovereign is he or they or that which decides the exception.

In other words, it rules and everyone else is ruled.

America is a communist country.
